World of Warcraft Quitter: "I Was Addicted" |

Nicky Haik was stuck at home sick for a week when he was 13. Out of boredom, he started playing WoW. Over the next five years, he spent somewhere between 175 and 200 solid days (4,000+ hours), playing the game. At 18 he finally decided it was time to quit, and did so earlier this month in extraordinary fashion.

He didn't mention it, but I assume Howard is not working on a browser-based, casual MMO either. Instead they'll be creating the epic games gamers actually want.
